I operate a facility with over 100 HPS lights. I regularly take par measurements to better understand transitioning plants from veg to bloom. I took my meter home and wow, these lights throw down some serious ppfd. Although the spread isn’t great, I’m running this light in a 4x4 for some experimenting in my garage so it’s just for fun. this light is worth the money.

I was worried to switch from the HID, not worried anymore actually get plenty of light. The heat created is minimal, especially compared to the typical high intensity, discharge lights, which produce crazy heat. Definitely recommend these lights. They are cheap and should last very long time.

These modern lights are great. They don’t need as much room and the amount of heat produced is far less than any old traditional light.
